Legal information / data protection

Scope of application
This is the official website of Halle 550, or Genossenschaft Migros Zürich (GMZ), which acts as the operator. The purpose of this portal is to provide information to customers. GMZ may engage the services of third parties to operate the portal. The following statements also apply mutatis mutandi to information sent to customers, e.g. in the form of newsletters subscribed to.

This information and these rules of usage apply exclusively to the website stage-one.ch. The special regulations governing other websites of entities of the Migros Group remain expressly reserved.
This information and the rules of usage are subject to change at any time. Changes are binding.

Intellectual property and other rights
GMZ is the owner and operator of this portal. All brands, names, titles, logos, images, designs, texts and other materials used on the portal belong to an entity or contractual partner of the Migros Group. Accessing, downloading or copying sites shall not confer any rights (usage or intellectual property rights) on the user. Reproducing (in part or in full), transmitting (electronically or using other means), modifying, linking or using the portal for public or commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written approval.

Exemption from liability
GMZ shall not accept any liability (including in cases of negligence) that may arise from access or inability to access the portal or individual elements thereof, or from use of the portal. Access to and use of the portal, and the backing up and archiving of transmitted data, are not guaranteed.

The portal contains links to third-party websites. These websites are not operated or monitored by GMZ. GMZ shall not be responsible for the contents of linked sites or for ensuring that the operators thereof comply with statutory data protection provisions.

Data transmission via the internet
The internet is a public network accessible to everyone and therefore is not a secure environment as a matter of principle. Although individual data packages are generally encrypted when transmitted, this does not apply to the sender or the recipient. Furthermore, it is possible that data could be transferred abroad and thereby to a country with a data protection standard that is lower than in Switzerland, even if the sender and recipient are both located in Switzerland. GMZ shall not be held liable for the security of data being transmitted via the internet.

Newsletters
Newsletters are only sent to customers at their explicit request. Newsletter subscriptions may be terminated at any time. Information on this can be found in the newsletters in question.

Collection and use of information
When the portal is accessed, a variety of access data (such as IP address, the date and time of access and the name of the file retrieved) are stored.
Personal information is not analysed. For statistical purposes, data may be analysed anonymously, for example to determine how many times the portal is accessed on a given day.
This data is treated strictly confidentially and not passed on outside of the Migros Group or made accessible to other third parties, unless this is required under the applicable law, namely by the law enforcement authorities responsible.
The processing of data by our own services or services of third-party providers, e.g. cookies or social plug-ins (see below) shall remain expressly reserved.
